free therapy ☆ [02] yoga

i must move my body
stretch my arms up and over
then behind my back,
turn to one side
then the next
until my dying breath
for every stretch undoes any newfound stress
my hips crack out the words "thank you"
my spine ripples in waves
i raise my knees up to my chest
exchanging breaths for heartbeats like currency
paying the price to keep my vessel intact
